Verdict will help build the Ram temple: VHP, RSS

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Thursday welcomed the Allahabad high court verdict on the Ayodhya title issue saying the faith of Hindus has been endorsed by the judiciary.

"We welcome the judgment. The faith of one billion Hindus that Lord Ram was born here has been endorsed by the judiciary," VHP international general secretary Pravin Togadia told PTI in New Delhi.

He said the judgment would now pave the way for construction of the Ram temple at the disputed site.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha chief Mohan Bhagwat also said, "The judgment is not a win or loss for anybody. We invite everybody, including Muslims, to help build the temple."

"The judgment has paved the way for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya," said Bhagwat.
