Z Omega jumped before a moving train after her boyfriend's family rejected her
Z Omega, a 25-year-old software engineer committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train after allegedly being dumped by her techie boy friend.
Omega, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was working in au00a0 software firm. Initially, the Cantonment Police, who found Omega's mangled body, booked a case as accidental death but after they traced her identity through a bank passbook, they changed the case to suicide and also charged her boyfriend Santosh Kumar, a techie from Warangal working in Bangalore, with abetment to suicide .
Santosh's parents had allegedly rejected Omega as the families came from different castes. "Omega was very disturbed, which is why she took the extreme step," said J Francis, Omega's father.
On Saturday, Omega's body was found between Krishnarajapura and Byappanahalli railway track. The Cantonment Police are on the lookout for Santosh, who is missing since Saturday.
