When lost stories translate into progressive trance!

Lost Stories is a prolific Indian electronic music duo comprising India's best Progressive Trance producersu00a0-- Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi. Barely some months into its formation, they achieved success when its Single 'False Promises' got picked up by DJ Tiesto for his Black Hole recordings. The combination of Prayag's progressive sounds and Rishab's uplifting melodies were too compelling for the global electronica industry, and their first joint production.

"Rishab first met me over a social networking website. We had a common love for trance music. I loved the progressive side, whereas Rishab liked the uplifting sounds. We thought we could collaborate, and now we are producing progressive melodic tunes," says Prayag.

Their style's all about groovy bass-lines, moody and high energy outros and dreamy breakdowns with a hint of tech elements, thereby creating the signature Lost Stories' sound.

Sound proof

Having played alongside prominent artistes such as Mat Zo and Anhken, there's more on their inspiring list.

"Ferry Corsten, BT, Andy Duguid, Mat Zo have always been good. Every time you listen to their music, you notice something new," explains the 23-year-old.

The dup last played at Bacardi Blast Live in Goa. With many more live performances and DJ gigs in the pipeline, they are setting up the stage in Delhi today. "We have heard great things about parties in Delhi and are really looking forward to playing there. I am sure they'll like our sounds", says Prayag hopefully.
