Five people sipping tea and watching TV at a roadside tea stall were crushed to death when a speeding truck rammed into the shop here early Sunday, the police said.
The accident occurred at a tea stall opposite a nursing home on the M.G. Road.
Agra police chief Prem Prakash told IANS, "Five people have been killed and three injured". The injured are in serious condition.
According to a witness, the truck, bearing a Rajasthan registration number, was speeding and "gatecrashed into the tea stall where some attendants of patients in the nursing home were having tea".
