Bollywood star and the Samajwadi Party candidate from Lucknow Sanjay Dutt met party workers on Wednesday to formulate strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and interact with various sections of the public.
Dutt, who arrived here on Tuesday night, will also visit a house in the congested Aminabad locality where his father Sunil Dutt lived for nearly four years till 1951 while he worked with All India Radio.
"Dutt will meet Samajwadi Party activists at the party state headquarters," said party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary.
He will also meet members of the minority community in Aminabad and interact with prominent doctors of the city later in the day.

Last month, the Samajwadi Party announced the candidature of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency, sparking off a feud in the Dutt family. Later, Sanjay Dutt unilaterally announced that he would not contest if former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee were to seek re-election from Lucknow. |
