Railways to introduce half-yearly and yearly season tickets for Mumbai locals

For the convenience of commuters, railways has decided to introduce half-yearly and yearly season tickets from 1st April, 2013.

These will be in addition to the currrently available monthly and quarterly season tickets to all categories of passengers including senior citizens.

The newly introduced half-yearly and yearly season tickets will be non-refundable as in the case of monthly and quarterly tickets.

The half-yearly and yearly tickets shall be chargeable at 5.4 times and 10.8 times respectively of monthly season tickets. This ratio shall be applicable for both first class and second class season ticketsu00a0
