A 27-year-old youth of this Punjab town has allegedly been murdered by some unknown assailants in Italy last week, the deceased's family members said here on Tuesday.
Ramesh Kumar, who had gone to Italy in 2007, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Italian city of Milan July 28.
"Our son has been murdered in Italy. We were informed about this by one of our relatives residing there yesterday (Monday)," Kumar's father Madan Lal said here on Tuesday.
"We appeal Indian government to ensure a fair trial there and help us in bringing back my son's body to India," he said.
