Sonia Gandhi losing her temper in Parliament was a topic made for Twitter. Journalist Barkha Dutt tweeted: ‘Advani calling the UPA illegitimate triggers rare intervention from Sonia. Time for Congress top guns to start speaking in Parliament.' Someone using the handle MissWiss asked, ‘Has anyone ever seen Sonia Gandhi angrier? Thank you, Advaniji, for showing this side of her.' Faking News had some words of advice: ‘Check her iPad. Maybe she was playing Angry Birds.' There was this comment from Kiran Kumar: ‘Sonia Gandhi must be made to hear Margaret Thatcher: "The problem with socialism is that you will eventually run out of someone else's money".' And from A Bhattacharya: ‘So anyway, the Assam issue is now in the back seat. Well done, Sonia Gandhi and Advani.'

All about priorities
The UPA government's plan to allegedly spend a large amount of money distributing mobile phones to families below the poverty line sparked off another flurry of comments. Ramesh Srivats tweeted: ‘Free cell phones to all BPL families. What's called UPAwardly mobile.' Gabbar Singh had this to say: ‘So, instead of writing a suicide letter, farmers can now just send out a text before killing themselves.' A certain Vijay tweeted: ‘Will BPL families stay BPL once they have mobile phones? I think this is the Congress's way of removing poverty once for all.'

Mind reading
What men want was another topic clogging timelines for a while, prompting tweets such as these - ‘100% returns on all investments', ‘to hang out with friends at times instead of going on dates all the time', ‘a silent girlfriend who doesn't ask and talk much' and ‘to believe they look like Ryan Gosling when they actually look like Zach Galifianakis.'
