Shambhu (in pink T-shirt) has been accused of keeping two girls captive
Shambhu called two girls from Assam promising them good jobs with multinational companies or publishing houses. Instead, on reaching Delhi they were sent out to work as domestic helps. "They left the job and had an altercation with Shambhu, telling him to let them return home. But Shambhu locked them in a room of his office," said Chaudhary.
The girls managed to contact a friend and told him about the entire incident. Their friend contacted an NGO who approached the police. A raid was then conducted and both the girls were rescued. "The victims have been sent to Nirmal Chhaya centre," said Chaudhary.
