Nupur Talwar moves apex court against arrest warrant

The apex court bench headed by Justice AK Patnaik said that since the matter was not listed, it would be taken up for hearing on Friday. The CBI on Wednesday unsuccessfully searched for Talwar after a special Ghaziabad court issued the warrant against her for not appearing for a hearing of the case.

She submitted an application before the court through her lawyer saying that since her review petition was to be heard by the Supreme Court on April 27, she could not turn up before the court on Wednesday. A CBI officer said that she would be arrested once found.u00a0
