Although city police have succeeded in taking PDP chief Abdul Nasser Madani into custody, they will have a tough time proving the charges
Though the city police have done a commendable job by securing the arrest of People's Democratic Part (PDP) Chief Abdul Nasser Madani, they have a tough task ahead.
After an eight-day struggle, the city police managed to bring in Madani, but he will be admitted to either Bowring or Victoria Hospital wards, since Madani complained of several ailments.

So the police have not taken any chances, and have decided to keep him under medical observation during the interrogation.
Madani was brought to the city yesterday after Joint Police Commissioner Alok Kumar went to Kerala and held a series of discussions with senior police officials there. |
