Union Minister of State for Power Bharatsinh Solanki's OSD was allegedly kidnapped and robbed


Union Minister of State for Power Bharatsinh Solanki's OSD (officer on special duty) was allegedly kidnapped and robbed of his cell phone and cash by three people in a car in the high security zone of Chanakyapuri in New Delhi on Tuesday morning.

The OSD identified as one Narender went on a morning walk around 6 am near the minister's residence on 6, Kamraj Road when the incident occurred. The police said three people pulled him in a car and robbed him of his cell phone and Rs 2,000 in cash. "They dumped Narender on Teen Murti Marg and fled," the police said.

"We received a PCR call in the morning and haven't yet registered a case in this regard as Narender had gone out of Delhi along with Solanki after the incident. We are yet to record the statement of Narender in this regard after which we will register a case. Meanwhile, we are investigating the matter and a hunt is on to track the car," said a police officer attached to the Chanakyapuri police station.
