Victim admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, doctors say condition stable

A 35-year-old man was found injured at Moti Bagh near R K Puram in south Delhi late on Monday night. Police suspect he had been attacked by assailants who wanted to rob him of his valuables

Police said the victim, Lokesh Tripathi, suffered head injuries and is undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital. It was around 12:10 am when a PCR call was made by a passerby.


"Lokesh is a resident of Delhi Cantonment area and works with a private firm in Mahipalpur. A passerby found him lying in a pool of blood and called the PCR. We are not sure how he suffered the injuries and are yet to take his statement," said a senior police officer.

The officer said that an FIR will be lodged according to the victim's testimony.
"The doctors said his condition is stable and his family members have been informed," said the officer.
