If you always wanted to know where the stars went to get their hair done, now you do. The new salon and spa at Kalyani Nagar, 24 Karat Hair Salon and Spa, is responsible for Saif Ali Khan's hairstyle in the Asian Paints ad, Mandira Bedi's hair on the cover of Marie Claire and Anil Kapoor's hair in Slumdog Millionaire. The director of the spa, Homai Billimorea, promises that she can make you look like a filmstar too. Also, if you aspire to style a star yourself, you can enrol yourself in their academy.
Ambience: Situated on the premises of Gold's Gym, it caters to the cru00e8me-de-la-creme of Pune, which includes socialites as well as college goers. It is very tastefully done in a smart black and white colour scheme. The salon is divided into different sections for hair cuts, pedicures and facials and the interior is designed to ensure fuss-free service to clients. There is also a gym, cafeteria and a pool on the premises, giving ample scope for relaxation.
Services: The academy is affiliated to Toni & Guy and they offer innovative haircut options, prices varying accordingly. You can either opt for an expensive haircut by Homai or go for a cheaper one by one of the trainee stylists. Apart from the hair styles, they also have other facilities like tattooing, piercing, facials, waxing, pedicures and manicures.
Their academic programme offers a Basic Course and an Advanced Course in hair styling as well as a course in make-up and skincare. While the duration for the basic course is two months, the advanced course is only for two weeks.
