Four persons including two women succumbed to the swine flu virus yesterday. The death toll has reached 320, while 109 deaths have been reported in last four months.

u00a0The deceased were identified as Chaya Mahesh Shelke (21) of Ahmednagar district, Vaishali Babanrao More (35) of Shivajinagar, Dhanaji Shivram Chandgude (31) of Baramati and Shailesh Shyamrao Kaijkar (31) of Nanded district. The swab test for the four had tested positive.

Doctors said that Chaya Shelke was shifted to the Identified Isolation Ward of Sassoon hospital on August 8, while Vaishali More was admitted to hospital on August 7. Chandgude was admitted to Sassoon hospital on August 6. Kaijkar was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

u00a0"There are 139 persons more who have tested positive for swine flu and 180 are suspected to have been infected. 25 patients have been put on ventilator as their condition is serious," doctors added.
