MULCHAND SWEETS Around since 1951, Mulchand Sweets buzzes with activity. "The sales have been brisk this year," says Kantilal Mulchand Sethia.u00a0During this festival they make modaks in myriad flavours including chocolate (Rs 400 per kg), Mango, Rose, Malai (all for Rs 300 per kg), Mawa Kaju (Rs 420). You can check out some special Modak like Coconut Fried modaks (Rs 200 per kg) and Steamed modaks (Rs 15 per piece). Other specialties are Fruit Nut Roll (Rs 500 per kg) Kalakand (Rs 260), Kaju Barfi (Rs 400), Choconut or chocolate with nuts ( Rs 560) and a Bengali sweet called Malai Rimzim (Rs 26) per kg). Budhani Bros Waferwalau00a0 This famous landmark is known for their wafers like Potato Chivda (Rs 240 per kg) and Potato Cheese Wafers (Rs 240 per kg). During the festive season however, they also make some special modaks. "Other than our regular items we have Kesar modaks this year," says owner Arvind Budhani.
