"A pilot did not turn up for and the passengers remained inside the aircraft till 7.40 pm without any information on the status of the flight. The pilot turned up at 7.50 pm just to inform us that the flight was being cancelled," said Jogeshwari resident Xavier Rodrigues, a Goa-bound passenger.
Angered at the fact that they had to wait so long and were not receiving any answers, the passengers began fighting with Kingfisher officials at the departure terminal. "Kingfisher officials weren't providing us with any information," said Subodh Kole, another passenger aboard flight IT-306. The fight ended when CISF officials were called in.
Despite repeated attempts, Kingfisher's spokesperson could not be reached for a comment.u00a0
