A fire broke out at the Uttam Nagar metro station here Tuesday morning. No one was injured, officials said.
"The fire was reported at 10.10am. It broke out in an air conditioner at the control room of the metro station," said an official of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
"Two fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. No one is injured," the official added.
A police officer said electrical short-circuit seems to be the probable cause of fire.

According to an official of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), passenger traffic was normal at the metro station.
