A suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorist, accused of providing logistical support for carrying out the September 13 serial blasts in the capital, was on Thursday remanded to 14-day judicial custody by a court here.
Mohammad Hakim, arrested by Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad on January 2, was produced before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Bansal, who sent him to judicial custody till January 29.
The suspected terrorist, a final year student of a private engineering college at Lucknow who was also carrying a prize of Rs one lakh on his head, allegedly provided logistical support to his co-accused in carrying out the September 13 serial blasts in the capital, besides supplying explosives to them.
Hakim was produced in court after completion of his custodial interrogation by Delhi police for 10 days. The accused had allegedly supplied splinters and ball-bearings used in the bombs to maximise the casualties.

He was sent to 14 days' judicial custody in three cases registered in Karol Bagh, Greater Kailash I, Connaught Place police stations.
Delhi police, on January 3, were granted transit remand of Hakim by a Lucknow court in connection with the case.
Hakim, who has allegedly disclosed complicity of accused Ariz, Shadab Beg and Asadulla in the blasts, is also wanted by the Maharashtra Police in connection with a case under the Arms Act and the Bombay Police Act, the UP ATS had said.
Delhi Police had recently filed three chargesheets in the serial blasts that took place in Karol Bagh, Connaught Place and Greater Kailash I. Twenty-six persons were killed and several others were injured in the serial blasts.
