Constable killed by friends

Umesh (37), an Anti-terrorist Cell constable, was allegedly killed by his two friends, Raju and Anand, in Subramanyapura on Tuesday night.

The three had gone for a drink but started quarrelling at the bar. Umesh left, but his friends called him back, and took him a few blocks away where they reportedly struck him with an iron rod. Later Umesh's family went looking for him in the neighbourhood and found him in a pool of blood.
