Bowl 'em over

Enough of playing the ball. How about some bowling action now? Check out 'Bowling Dude and Diva'u00a0-- a bowling contest organised by BluO starting on Friday.
The contest will be the first of its kind in India. Girls take heart, because you shall not miss out on the action in this amateur tourney.

Yeh hai youngistan
The meet has been designed for participants between 16-28 years. However, any participant who has taken part in professional bowling previously will be disqualified. Puneet Sharma, vice president, BluO, says: "We have planned for an exciting and enjoyable tournament meant strictly for amateurs."

Time for some girlie action
The tournament actively encourages participation from females. "We wanted to encourage girls and are surprised by the response we have received," adds Sharma.

Reward yourself
Sports is all about participation. Awards are inconsequential. Even then, participants won't get back empty-handed. The one who is crowned 'Bowling Dude' will win himself a bike while the 'Bowling Diva' gets a scooty as the grand prize. The first runner-up will receive an i-Pod and the second runner-up will win a wardrobe worth Rs 5,000.
