Year-ender 2020: Here's how Mumbai fought COVID-19

As 2020 comes to an end, we take a look at how Mumbai, India’s financial capital, put a brave fight against COVID-19. Also, Dharavi, Asia's largest slum, reported its first coronavirus death in April, and many feared that the virus would spread fast. But three months on, Dharavi won praise from the World Health Organisation for the efforts taken to contain the spread of COVID-19. Till Wednesday, Mumbai had recorded 2,88,561 cases and the death toll stood at 11,033.
