Two people lost their lives in an accident on Parel Bridge on Sunday (February 4) night.
The accident took place on Parel Bridge at around 9.45 pm on Sunday.
The car in the South Bound region collided with the divider and then collided with a two-wheeler in the North Bound region. "The driver was allegedly overspeeding, after which the accident took place. We have identified the accused as Imteaz Shaikh (21). The victims were taken to KEM hospital for further treatment," said an officer.
The deceased had been identified as Sohail Shaikh (39) and Mohammad Sohail Shaikh (12).

Asman Sohail Shaikh (35) and Fatima Sohail Shaikh (4) are undergoing treatment at KEM hospital.
"The family was on a two-wheeler and they are residents of Dadar," said the police. The Kalachowike police station are investigating the matter.
