The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is upgrading its SAP software, so the system will be shut down from 8 pm on July 9, 2021 to 8 pm on July 21, 2021.
Earlier, the update was to be done between 8 pm from June 11, 2021 to 8 am on June 28, 2 021.
However, as the SAP system will remain closed during the update period, the process has been postponed for a month due to technical and tender requirements of various departments of the corporation.
A revised schedule has been announced accordingly. During this period, the SAP servers will be migrated to another data centre and will be converted to a SAP HANA platform. As the BMC is going to use the eProcurement System of the government of Maharashtra, the tendering processes of all departments will continue.
