Woman's body found stuffed inside metal box

City police have registered an offence of murder following the recovery of the body of a woman from a box in the powerloom town of Bhiwandi, police said today.

Body of a woman aged between 25-30 years was found stuffed inside a metal box on the Bhiwandi Parol road on November 28 by locals.

Nizampura police registerd an offence under IPC sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disaapearance of evidence) in connection with the case yesterday. Further investigations are on.
