English translation of Mahajan's book spills secrets about Munde's alleged affair, just as his daughter Pankaja is out campaigningEven though he's behind bars, Pravin Mahajan is back to haunt the Munde family. If sources are to be believed, the English translation of Pravin's Maza Album (My Album) is expected to hit the stands before the October 13 Assembly elections and will rake up ghosts of the past for both the Mundes as well as the Mahajans.
In the book, Pravin has mentioned many controversial anecdotes related to both the families. One such incident concerns Pankaja Munde, Gopinath Munde's daughter who is contesting from Parli in Beed district this time. In the book, while writing about the alleged affair between Munde and tamasha dancer Barkha Patil, Mahajan says that Pankaja supported Munde even after rumours of the affair as well as that of their alleged illegitimate son, Pratik, came out.
According to the book, when rumours of the alleged affair broke out, Munde's wife Pradnya was shattered. Yet Pankaja was in support of Munde. She reportedly even told her mother, "My father's son (Pratik) is my brother." Pravin also goes on to say that the daughter has always supported the father.
The Marathi version of Pramod Mahajan's controversial brother's book has got such a good response that it has gone in for a reprint. The book has now been translated into English and will soon hit the stands.
However, while Pravin has blasted everyone else in his book, he has praised Pramod's wife Rekha. In one of the incidents mentioned, he says that once his relationship was fixed with Sarangi, they did not have the money to buy the engagement ring. Rekha then sold her own marriage ring and got a new engagement ring for Sarangi.u00a0u00a0

When Sunday MiD DAY contacted her, Gopinath Munde's daughter Pankaja first smsed, "I am in the interiors (of Maharashtra) for campaigning, the network is bad here." When we sent her a message about Pravin Mahajan's book and the incident concerning her, Pankaja replied, "I don't want to talk about anything like that."
