THE need to get high at all costs landed two teenagers in the police net yesterday.

Salman Shaikh (17) and Mohammed Chawle (19) were arrested by the Kurla Government Railway Police (GRP) when local train passengers spotted them carrying weapons in their back pockets.

Senior Police Inspector SS Dhumal of the Kurla GRP said the teenagers, who are Mumbra residents, entered a Kurla-bound train at CST. Commuters immediately noticed knives jutting out from their back pockets.

"The commuters saw the duo and asked what they were doing in the train.

Sheikh and Chwale took out the weapons and threatened the passengers but were overpowered before they could cause any harm. They handed the duo over to the Kurla GRP," said Dhumal.

The duo has been charged for possessing weapons.
