All the 11 accused in the September 29 Malegaon blast case, including prime accused sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt Col S P Purohit, were today remanded in judicial custody till January 20 by the special MCOCA court.
The prosecution had sought police custody of one of the accused, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, for his alleged links with right-wing group Abhinav Bharat. The court, however, refused to grant the police custody of Chaturvedi observing that he was already in the custody of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for 14 days.
