David Coulthard to race on Sea Link on October 11A fortnight from now, Mumbaikars will clear the way for Scottish former Formula One racer David Coulthard, who's all set to let it rip on the Bandra Worli Sea Link. Of course, he will not be driving at the stipulated 50 kmph speed limit.
The British one-time great will set off on the Link for the Red Bull Racing Team Sunday morning on October 11. While Coulthard will himself arrive only a day prior to the event, his crew will be landing on October 6 and will be assembling the car from scratch.
"David's very excited to come here. The car too is a state of the art vehicle that will be on display in the lobby of the J W Marriott Hotel in Juhu. The hotel will also be where David will be staying," said a source from the Red Bull Racing Team group. The car will also be on display at different malls in the city to let fans get a glimpse of the car before the big day.
The group is also organising a welcome party at the hotel's nightclub Enigma on October 10. "The guest list has however not been decided yet," said a hotel source.
Coulthard last week raced against a plane in Osaka, Japan as part of the Red Bull Racing Asia tour.
