Clinton meets SEWA artisans at NapeanSea Road

The founders and artisans at SEWA (Self Employed Women's Association) at NapeanSea Road gave visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton a rousing rendition of the song Hum Honge Kaamyaab in Gujarati today when she visited the center.


The founders and artisans at SEWA (Self Employed Women's Association) at NapeanSea Road gave visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton a rousing rendition of the song "Hum Honge Kaamyaab" in Gujarati today when she visited the center.

Clinton first met SEWA founders Ela Bhatt and Reema Nanavaty in Gujarat in 1995. She also met craftswomen from Kutch.

Clinton will then proceed to St. Xavier's College in Dhobitalao where she and Aamir Khan will be part of a youth discussion.
