18.31 per cent turnout in Mumbai re-poll

An estimated 18.31 per cent of the electorate in four polling booths in Mumbai North Central Parliamentary constituency had cast their votes till noon in the re-poll ordered by the Election Commission on Tuesday.

The four booths are - 183 and 185 in Kalina and 229a and 232a in Kurla.

The re-poll was neccessitated as voters registered in the Kurla polling booths had cast their votes in Kalina.

Priya Dutt of Congress, BJP's Mahesh Jethmalani and Shilpa Sarpotdar of MNS are the main candidates in the constituency.
