Mumbai Customs officials who intercepted 15 kg of drugs on Wednesday (âCustoms seize 15 kg of party drugs hidden in salt and tea packets') from the cargo of two London-bound flights are still to secure a breakthrough in the case.
Top sources in the Customs confirmed to MiD DAY that they were yet to trace the kingpin who ordered the drugs.
Customs officials found that the consignment had been booked in the name of a Sanjay Tamhankar.

Following investigations, they raided Tamhankar's residence at JV Nagar, Andheri (East) only to find that the contact details provided were bogus.
According to inquiries, Tamhankar had vacated the premises in July but all the bookings had been made for this address.u00a0
"When we raided the place, we found it to be a coaching academy," said a Customs official, adding that the owner of the property - an NRI - had confirmed that Tamhankar had rented the property, but had vacated the accommodation in July this year.
The officials also revealed that based on other leads they were trying to track different numbers to know the whereabouts of Tamhankar.
"We are tracing some numbers and a major breakthrough is expected soon," an official said.
