Thane district on Monday reported as many as 14 new Covid-19 cases. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,817, according to the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
According to a bulletin issued by the TMC on October 10, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Monday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.

With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 134 active coronavirus cases.

14 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 10, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,512. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.83 per cent.
