The Powai police arrested four people for killing a 17-year-old boy, who allegedly stole a steel pipe from a Metro site on the night of March 30. The cops arrested the accused within five hours of them committing the crime.
According to a report in Times of India, the incident came to light after the boy, identified as Aniket Bansode, died while undergoing treatment at Rajawadi hospital.
Police officials said that Bansode was attacked by a security guard and supervisors while he was caught stealing at the metro site.
The accused have been identified as Umesh Parab (38), Sujatali Naushadali (26), Sachin Mandavkar (38), and Sandip Jadhav (30).
