Adventure Sports and Beyond
Who doesn't like the taste of adventure? More appropriately, who wouldn't like it if climbing a wall at Parvati Valley near Pune were as simple as turning the pages of a magazine? Adventure Sports and Beyond, a new monthly magazine has ventured into delivering adventure at your doorstep.
With the belief that the spirit of adventure has an important role in shaping an individual and his/her environment, National Education Foundation (Pune) and Adventure & Outdoor Media Pvt Ltd (Mumbai) launched this magazine that also invites enthusiasts to share their adventure with the magazine.
NEF had organised the first endurance race Enduro3 in India. Shardul Bajikar, Director of Adventure Sports and Beyond, explains how the magazine took shape, "This was the 14th year of the race. It's an overnight, multi-disciplinary race, where cycling forms a large part. It's where the idea of a magazine took shape. Five or six years down the line, after organising the Enduro3 races, we pooled our strengths, and decided to create a magazine, which would be a platform to integrate the wider audience, or people who participate."
