You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive. That goes for women too. You never get them till you get a smashing car, say some. A UK University tried a simple test to prove it. A group of women were shown a picture of a man sitting in a Bentley Continental, and another group of women the same man sitting in an old Ford Fiesta. The man in the Bentley scored higher on attractiveness. The same man in the old Ford scored less.

His car was the culprit, not him. Results reveal women equate wealth and success in a man as a condition suited to rear healthy offspring.

Guys we spoke to said they never looked at an expensive car as a machine that could help them get favours with the opposite sex. For them, owning an expensive car was a sign of wealth and stability. And women see these traits as defining a man's attractive quotient by simply looking at his car model. Men are not convinced; they don't see a connection. Women connect little dots to see the big picture. Studies are speculative. Can a car really help a guy get lucky in the sack?

For men, a car is a wild card to announce they have arrived. An expensive flashy car is a sign of achievement. Of course, they use it to flaunt their social ranking, being able to announce that they are now part of the cream. I don't think getting lucky with the ladies is their first priority. Most men get into technicalities; they look for performance etc. But when women take notice, it's a double whammy.
