The last time we went for Clay Crossing's pottery class, we were short of time and opted for a weekend crash course. Despite the short duration of the training, we fell in love with the simple motion of kneading clay and experienced a feeling of calm elation after crafting a Ganesha, a flower and a pot.

Even the stormy weather post-session couldn't dampen our spirits. With the festive season just around the corner, we suggest you check out their Green Diwali workshop where you can learn to make clay diyas (lamps), Rangoli platters and padukas.

The clay artefacts make for perfect Diwali embellishments and are a nice respite from the plastic 'Made in China' padukas and lamps that flood the market at this time of the year. Plus, we can assure you that swapping stories with guests of how you made these decorative items by yourself is well worth the experience. Hurry up, as there are limited seats available.
