Live! At the Library will feature music and literature by independent performers

This week will see the beginning of a series of events that will showcase the talent of independent artistes in the city.

A collaboration between the Mumbai-based literary magazine Helter Skelter and the new working space, Ministry of New will feature music, dance, poetry, and literature, along with interviews, workshops, and discussions with creative people from across the country.

The first edition of the event, titled Live! At The Library will see performances by: Gowri: A singer-songwriter and producer based in Pune. She was a journalist for seven years and studied music at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music for ten months.

Spoken Thiiird: A thinker, writer, spoken word artist and poet. He has written plays, books and individual pieces of writing that were not part of any book and performed before smaller groups as well as a thousand-member audience.

Anu Elizabeth Roche:âu00c2u0080u00c2u0088A poet and mother, she has been performing spoken word poetry for over three years now, with featured performances in several literary festivals, including Kavya Hotra, Times Celebrate Bandra and Poets Translating Poets.

Mahithi: Her work has been published in national publications and two volumes of the Helter Skelter Anthology of New Writing.
