While attending the Toronto International Film Festival for promoting his new film 'The Judge,' the 49 year-old actor said that there was no sequel in the pipeline, Contactmusic reported.

The 'Sherlock Holmes' star, who would possibly be portraying a superhero for the last time and is soon to become a father again, also said that he was amused with people's assumptions that it would be him who would decide if the role would be played by someone else.

However, fans could still see him playing Tony Stark as Downy is currently signed with Marvel Studios and Disney for two more 'Avengers' movies that are set for release in 2015 (The Avengers: Age Of Ultron) and 2018.
