Veteran actor Gary Oldman says he prides himself on being truthful in every aspect of his life including his career.
"It is my conscience that prevents me from telling a lie," mirror.co.uk quoted the 53-year-old as saying.
"I don't truck with all that infidelity and dishonesty. I can't lie, I am a terrible liar. It is just not in my make up. I am terrible.
It is a big thing with my kids too. I always say to them, 'What is the one thing that papa doesn't like?' And they will say it right away," he added.
The actor is nominated in the best actor category for Oscar for his role in "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", a big screen adaptation of John le Carre's spy novel of the same name.
