Other than clothes and accessories, model-actor Yuvika Chaudhary also has a fetish for gizmos. A quick shopper, she hates the idea of wasting too much time at a single store. She shares her shopping habits:
Fast-footed
If I like something, I just pick it up without checking out other pieces. I also like to shop fast, as I don't enjoy spending hours at a store or mall as I'm not too brand conscious. And, I don't mind shopping with friends or family, but they have to be quick shoppers.
Shoe off
I end up buying shoes more often than clothes or accessories. If I like a particular type of shoe, I pick up pairs in every available colour. I own around 55 pairs and half of them lie in the cupboard, as I wear the comfortable ones more often. My mom keeps telling me to restrain from buying shoes, but I can't help it!
Owner's pride
I prefer wearing denims and regular tees. I absolutely love white tees and own at least a dozen of them. But I want to have all kinds of dresses, skirts, kurtis, sarees and pants in my wardrobe. I'm most happy when I know that I own everything. When it comes to clothes, I buy things that suit me without checking out the label. But I love branded bags and clutches.u00a0
Leisure fling
I like the malls in Bangkok and Malaysia. Street shopping is also exciting in South East Asian countries. And since I enjoy window shopping as well, I make it a point to shop at leisure. In Mumbai, I love shopping at a South Mumbai mall that houses the middle as well as high-end brands.
Gizmo gal
I also love shopping for gizmos, gadget accessories and games. I often change my laptop, mobile phone, and iPod for the latest models in the market. However, I have to restrict myself, as they are expensive buys (laughs). A new laptop is next on my wish list.
