On Sunday morning, the actress fractured her left foot when she slipped on the stairs of her home, but she bravely performed her solo act in that evening's show of Broken Images. However, all shows of the play for the next six weeks have been cancelled as there is no way the actress will be able to do that again. The consummate professional, Shabana is upset that she has had to renege on her professional commitments and shows had to be cancelled due to her. She hopes she will be able to go to London to promote Gurinder Chadha's It's A Wonderfurl Afterlife as scheduled in April.
