WeChat has introduced the special emoticons to make the communication experience more fun and exciting for users. Users can access the emoticons through a contest where they need to add 15 friends on their WeChat accounts.
The launch of these special emoticons is an extension of WeChat's young and fun spirit and represents its efforts to innovate and connect with local Indian audiences, said a statement.
Earlier this month, WeChat had introduced a TV commercial campaign with Parineeti and Varun as its brand ambassadors.
