But the Karthik Calling Karthik actress was unhappy with her character and politely suggested a few changes. This apparently angered Nana so much that he ranted at Deepika and said in no uncertain terms that she should not dare to suggest changes to him when he has been in the industry for a long time and she is only a newcomer. Deepika did not answer back and remained silent even when he stormed out.
The two had met on the sets of Raajneeti in Bhopal last year. Nana stars in the film and Deepika had come to meet her then-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Nana had told her then that he is writing a script and he would love to cast her. Deepika had said she'll love to work with him and would definitely like to meet once his script was ready. However, things did not happen as expected.
