Life after marriage...

Marriage is the other word for adjustments, and model Jesse Randhawa couldn't agree more. Though she says that her new husband Sandip Soparrkar readily helps out with the house work, she concedes that her life has changed post marriage. She gets candid with CS:



While you were sleeping
I miss my bed! Earlier I had it all to myself, but now I don't have any such luxury. And what's worse, Sandip monopolises my quilt while sleeping, so I'm left with almost nothing to cover myself with.

Early to bed...
Before marriage I would sleep at 9pm and wake up at 5am. Now that I am married, it is impossible to sleep so early, which makes waking up early even more difficult.

TV reality
The one thing I miss the most is the TV in the bedroom. But in Sandip's house every time I have to watch TV, I need to go to the living room. The saddest thing is that we don't have the option of fixing one in the bedroom as we have full-length windows and no space for an LCD on the wall.

Home truths
The responsibilities have increased. Being the lady of the house, I have to keep an eye on what's cooking in the kitchen or make sure that the house is spic and span. Sandip is very choosy about the food on his plate. He isn't easily satisfied with rajma and kali dal etc. I have a hard time meeting his culinary standards.

Skeletons in the cupboard
When I moved into Sandip's house there wasn't enough space for my clothes. Sandip has four cupboards and it took him three months to empty two of those out for me. I had to constantly remind him to do it though.

In good taste
Since I'm a vegetarian and he isn't, it gets a little tricky sometimes. Being a Punjabi, I love rajma and kali dal and he doesn't, so whenever I have those Punju cravings, I have to run to my mum's place.
