Incidentally, newbie Mahie Gill treads the same path. Dev D's Paro began her B-Town innings asu00a0 Rimpy in Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaath with Ajay Jadeja in the lead.

Now out of the blue, the movie has resurfaced and is being released this Friday.
Now here's the kahaani mein twist. The heroine's name on the posters this time around, isn't Rimpy but Mahie Gill, in an obvious bid to cash in on her Dev D and Gulaal fame.
Mahie however maintains, "I have no idea about all this." She adds, "I am in a bad state. My dog has just passed away."
