Konkona says no to Ranvir

Konkona Sen Sharma's prolonged maternity leave is finally over. And while she will be part of Ananth Narayan Mahadevan's Gaur Hari Dastaan, which also stars her husband Ranvir Shorey, the two will not share a single frame. In fact, this was one of Sharma's pre-conditions before signing the role.



While Vinay Pathak plays Indian freedom fighter Gauri Hari Das, Sharma will be seen as his wife. Shorey will play another freedom fighter named Shankar who encourages Gaur Hari to take on the government
According to Mahadevan, "The first thing both Ranvir and Konkona wanted to know was, if they are paired together."

The couple has so far shared screen space in many films. They were last seen together in Fashion.
