SRK plays the violin

Apart from sharing some interesting anecdotes with the audience, SRK even showed off his musical side by playing a violin on Farhan's Oye! It's Friday. When Farhan asked Shah Rukh to play the instrument, the latter reminded him how Adi had banned him from playing a real violin from the sets of Mohabbatein.

However, he sportingly attempts to play it, with an actual professional playing it in the background. Watch the episode this Friday on NDTV Imagine.

Konkana Sen Sharma and fiance Ranvir Shorey must be the two most secure people on the planet when it comes to their looks.

While Ranvir played the title role of Ugly in the PNC film Ugli Aur Pagli, Konkana's next film for Dharma Productions' Wake Up, Sid, has a tagline that goes: This is a story of a young good-looking man (Ranbir Kapoor), falling in love with an old and a not-so-good looking girl. A birdie tells us that the Masakali track from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6 was originally composed for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om.

A R Rahman was initially supposed to score OSO's music. But things didn't work out and Vishal-Shekhar were roped in. Now we only wonder how Shantipriya (Deepika Padukone's character in the film) would have done a Masakali sans a pigeon?

Hrithik Roshan played a perfect host to Barbara Mori and family during their stay in India. And this was just him returning the hospitality.

A source reveals, "When Roshan and family was in the US, Barbara took the family out to the hotpsots. Especially when the crew was shooting in Las Vegas. They had some really mad times, with Barbara as the host." Check out the pics.

For dog's sake!

Sanjay Dutt's sister Namrata, is part of a movement, which wants the government to reconsider their decision of killing 'nuisance' dogs. Says Namrata, "What really defines a nuisance? Killing should be an exception. I am an animal lover and would do anything to help.

We are having a rally today at the Birla garden near Tulip Star Hotel in Juhu to be part of a silent Call To Humanity rally for stray dogs. A few steps walked can lead to rehabilitating the lives of many dogs."

Though we wish Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) would also join. Not only is he an animal lover himself but he has a pet dog. If he's not in town maybe biwi Maanyata can join the rally. This could be her way of patching up with the sisters too. Woof!

Second chances

After the disastrous Popkorn Khao Mast Ho Jao, actor-turned director Kabir Sadanand is all set for his second release Tum Milo Toh Sahi. The film stars Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Shetty, Vidya Malavade, Rehaan Khan and Anjana Sukhani.

A source reveals, "This will be the first movie of the year for all the actors in this movie. After Horn Ok Pleassss failed to show up in theatres, Nana is banking on this movie." The movie, produced by Fourth Wall Production, is due to release this summer.
