Asin celebrated her birthday recently and to the actress' delight, Hollywood star Hugh Jackman had a huge surprise in store for her.

Hugh had recorded a special birthday message on video and sent it over to be played at Asin's party. Not only that, the star also promised to be there on her next birthday to greet her in person.

A source close to the actress says, "Asin was so happy and surprised to see the video. She had never imagined Hugh would send a message to her." Insiders say that Asin knows Hugh through a common friend in New York.
The actress is believed to have met him several times. Apparently it was while Hugh was waiting for a flight at the London airport, that he recorded his birthday wish and sent it to their common friend to be played during the bash. Says a delighted Asin, "Yes, we have spoken on many occasions before, but I didn't expect him to surprise me with his sweet message. That was so thoughtful."u00a0
