Celina is in Kolkata for cousin Heena's baby shower. PS: Jaitly had missed the marriage
When Henna got married a couple of years ago, Celina couldn't attend the event as she was on a world tour. So she decided to attend her next big day, no matter what.
Collector's choice
Baby shower or godh bharai means gifts for the mommy and the to-be-born child. But Celina's gift is unusual. She is designing and decorating the baby's room.
Though the colour of the room hasn't been decided, they have decided to buy stuff in soft colors. For the last few months, Celina has been collecting all kinds of baby stuff from all over the world.
She picked up baby covers, pillowcases and blankets from Harrods the last time she went to London. She also bought wallpaper with pixies and fairies and a big mushroom house apart from furniture with elves and fairies painted on them. The theme for the baby's bedroom is Fairlyland."
Celina is turning maashi (mother's sister in Bengali) for the first time and will also be the baby's godmother. Celina squeals excitedly, "I am thrilled!"
Talking about children and marriages, Celina has been featured in the Jan-Feb 2009 issue of Bride & Styles on the cover in Muslim bridal attire.
Celina says, "Theu00a0 styling has been done by my mother (Neeta) and the clothes have been designed by Ritu Kumar.
Half the jewellery featured in the shoot is Mom's and the other half is Ritu's. My mom used to model and was Miss Western Queen and one of the semi-finalists of Miss India when she met my dad, fell in love with and married him."
